ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Technology Global Information Security (GIS) team delivers three core capabilities for Pfizer – Intrusion Detection & Analysis, Threat Intelligence, and Forensics. GIS secures Pfizer’s most important information assets through world-class controls and protections. GIS enables Pfizer’s business results by making security an enabler and not a roadblock. GIS strives to broaden the cybersecurity ownership culture across the company through targeted awareness campaigns and empowering colleagues to be risk aware.

Forensic Examiners provide digital forensic services for internal company investigative partners. Additionally, Forensic Examiners must be proficient in practices, procedures and analysis of electronic evidence. The forensic examiner position requires the highest levels of integrity. The ability to protect confidential information and operate within all policies, procedures and work instructions is a must.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to work with independently, work with internal customers to plan and execute forensic support for both simple and complex investigations.
Provide recommendations for identification, collection and preservation of digital evidence.
Determine tools and procedures required for preservation.
Collect, process, and analyze electronically stored information (ESI) obtained from network, cloud and end user digital sources in accordance with industry standards.
Ability to clearly and thoroughly document the repeatable action taken during your analysis.
Generate formal forensic analysis reports in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience.
Provide digital forensic expert advice and possible testimony.
Work with other team members to provide guidance and assistance.
Provide written and verbal status updates to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Use of industry standard digital forensic tools (such as EnCase, FTK, Blacklight, NUIX, IEF, Cellebrite, X-Ways, SIFT Workstation, XRY).
Conduct research into project-related issues.
Maintain forensic certifications and ability to provide expert testimony.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent investigations and projects with minimal supervision.
Maintain an organized workspace and office.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Security or Computer Forensics
5+ years of work experience related to digital forensics
Law Enforcement or Corporate Experience
One or more of the following certifications: EnCE, CFCE, GCFE or GCFA
Strong attention to detail
High personal Integrity
Basic understanding of European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or European Privacy laws is preferred
Advanced Level Knowledge in Cyber Forensics
Experience using physical, local, and remote acquisition tools across multiple OS systems and within a large global organization
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to clearly document and communicate findings, opinions, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in effective and efficient time and resource management
Capable of independently handling complex, large volume, and previously un-encountered situations and examinations
Must be able to research and apply appropriate technologies to different examinations
Can develop strategies to improve efficiency and consistency of service delivery
Mobile Device Experience
Memory Forensic Analysis Experience
Programming skills primarily in Python or Enscript

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a desk job.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Standard work schedule & 10% travels required.
Forensic support globally which may require unsocial hours to address matters in different time zones
