Kudos to Cellebrite for doing the right thing.My suggestion to fellow forensicators would be to contact the software developer when they encounter a showstopper even if their maintenance expired. If there is a major issue with the software, a software company that cares about its customers would most likely take care of you—regardless of the status of your maintenance contract. I know we would.
So the logical action is to say: Thank you Cellebrite! Expired licenses you get normally nothing.
