Forensics experts working on damaged media face a series of daily repeated operations. No need to mention that the slightest error in the manipulation of the fragile elements like HDD platters or heads is potentially fatal to the integrity of the media.

Every forensics expert's task is to not cause any damage or alteration and to perform this taks daily, each time, risk free and absolutely flawlessly.

For this cause, we have developed the tools which offer assistance in the manual operations of the platter cleaning (media damaged in floods and fires), as well as HDD heads inspection and cleaning.

Their robustness and ergonomic design help standardize these processes and remove less reliable solutions out of the equation.

We would like to present our products, Head Holder, Head Holder +, Platter Stand 2.5" and Platter Stand 3.5".

1) Head Holder and Head Holder +

These tools are designed to enable the data recovery specialist to safely inspect the heads under any type of a microscope.

They give the possibility of various positional adjustments, while keeping the hands of the specialist free, eliminating downsides like hand tremors and other similar effects.

*Head Holder + has an additional base and Head Holder Assembly (two pieces in total)

2) Platter Stand 3.5'' and Platter Stand 2.5''

These tools are designed to enable the data recovery specialist to safely store and inspect the platters from 3.5'' and 2.5'' drives, while they are removed from the hard drive assembly.

The tools come in a form of a modular multi-part platter-carrying subassemblies, mounted on a single base and connected among themselves using precisely machined joints.

Every part is made of stainless steel, making the assembly suitable to store the platters without compromising the security of their delicate ferromagnetic coated layers.

Our Firmware database , which will be explained in detail in the following article, is also in your disposal.
